I did intend to pack a pen and pad to make a list, but errrr, I forgot it!
I'm sure we will carry on refining our setup as we go, but I can only foresee that meaning that we need more stuff, not less!
I definitely like the idea of SIMs. I knew they would be comfier, even when I bought the airbeds, but I just couldn't afford to spend the money on four decent ones all at once with everything else that we'd just bought. But, hopefully now all the other main expenses are out of the way, after next months pay check, or maybe over the winter, that is what I'm going to do.
Although if they would have made me even hotter at night, then I might just have combusted! I was boiling! I'm just not made for this kind of weather!
Don't worry about the 2 hour set up..... we've only just got down to that!! Nearer 3 when we started!! What we have learned though, is a) not to let it bother us, and b) to carry on at a pace to suit us, with at least one tea break and a couple of "breathers", if need be. The journey is part of the holiday for us, and so now, is the setting up.... and the striking, for that matter.
It's worth it, to get the tent secure, and the set up just how we like it!
