I have a reconditioned original 1960's Belling with hob and oven, can only be used on 16A supply otherwise I use a double electric hob, 1.5KW in total ( use gas in the summer in the awning).
I really love my induction at home, and I think I might have to get an induction hob to take away if they're not too expensive. For those occasions when we do have electric. So much easier than messing with gas.
