It is a great shame when there is an irresponsible dog owner on site. When i was at school (many years ago!) a few bad pupils seemed to get the school a bad reputation, a pity as the majority of us were well behaved. The same thing seems to occur with pet owners. It isn't difficult to obey a few rules to make everyones holiday an enjoyable one. It doesn't spoil my holiday because i have to have my dogs on lead on site or that i have to pick up after them, that's just being responsible. Not difficult.
Looking at it from another point of view. I have a german shepherd who was tethered by our van. I went to get some water and a small child started toddling towards my dog followed by his slightly older brother. Father of said children stood by his van watching. I had to shout to tell the older child not to let the little one near my dog as she isn't used to little children and I wasn't sure how she would react.
------------- Loved my tent but love my caravan more :)
All dogs on a lead at all times on site....End of story...That rule is in place for several good reasons...Not least being the comfort and safety of everyone on site...
As has been said...I don't know you or your dog....And until I do get to know you and the dog I would prefer it be kept away from me and mine and under control at all times....
