Thank you for the update. We have booked a pitch with car beside tent which I think is on the lower part of the site.
Looking at the wind strength and direction on the BBC website I think we should be OK.
In 2019, we went to the Hebrides in September with winds of 40mph plus and the tent was OK but it was NOISY.

Just back from a week near Seil Island south of Oban and despite day trips around a wide area we hardly saw a midge.

We also read that Calmac will currently only accept pre booked motorhomes on crossings, no standby tickets will be available.
