Follow the guidelines for setting up your coolbox I use 4 pint plastic milk bottles filled with salt water, bag of cooking salt cheap cheerful and defrosts slower. Takes a couple of days to freeze them but worth it.
Take a pair of tights put cans of drinks in tights, wander over to the water in the stream or sea let kids play dangle the tights in the water, cold cans an extra benefit.  Tie tights to guy rope to dry and do it again the day after.
