mine goes in the roofbox and stays there, summer and winter.its protected from the damp, but just incase any gets in i keep the little gel packets that you tend to get from time to time when you buy things from other shops, but never experienced any of them swelling up which is a sign that things are fine and dandy.

Thanks for all the mousey advice, we have decided for the moment, to keep the tents in the house, in a spare wardrobe...

We had an 'exclusion' on our home insurance that means any damage made by vermin or insects, is not insured!!!!! Flippin' insurance companies!

Mice can squeeze themselves through a 2cm hole, apparently, so all those with lockable cupboards, CHECK FOR GAPS!!!!!!!

they kept us awake all winter, they move indoors in the winter apparently and can make new mice in 3 weeks!!!!!!

The problem with putting down poison foxy is that to encourage the wee darlings to eat the stuff it is irresistable to them so it will attract them before it kills them!

I worry they might either come in when they might not have to get the poison or come in for the poison but chew throught the tent before they pop their clogs!

Oh! wot to do!!!
