I always feel cold, so I tend to put a big fleece blanket around me inside the sleeping bag - this is really cosy to touch so is great for keeping warm.  Also, I put my sleep clothes on under my normal clothes as soon as it starts to cool down, that way you don't have to get undressed when it's cold, and your sleep clothes are much warmer when you get into bed.

I think the idea of having your pj's on under your clothes once it cools down is great. I will be trying that one out.

Glad to be able to help Jacquie!  It works for me, although I have to admit I don't do this if we're off to the pub for a drink!

It was blooming cold on Saturday night in Devon I can tell ya!!  Luckily last thing on Friday I purchased a fan heater from Argos, boy was I pleased!  We have also bought really good sleeping bags but it was mighty parky despite that.
