Don't worry about pitching in the wet - if you have heat it will soon dry out the inner. A fan heater will move the air and would work without the heat too. Go for it - we're off to the lakes next weekend too
------------- A wise man learns from his own mistakes - a genius learns from the mistakes of others
there is nout better than being with the forces of nature the cold fresh air will knock the kids out . its the fun of camping cant beat it and as for the weather makes for the perfect english hols you'll love it just forget the warm creature comforts back home
------------- why is it that peeps into caravan and camping have no problems with the peeps next door never a problem we pull onto our pitch to be offered tea or help ercting the awning /tent maybe if the country lived in caravans and tents there would be no problems in life ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I am sure it will be fine. We are due to try out our new tent for the weekend on 1st June and I am hoping for good weather but preparing for rain, that way if it rains I am prepared and if it doesn`t......................brilliant!
Rain or shine, I would love to be going away this weekend, but due to circumstances outside our control, we are car - less. I normally have the year planned out, and our first weekend away would have been May Day weekend, followed by as long as we could have managed for Spring Bank. As it is the camping stuff is sat in the trailer in the garage, with no prospect of a holiday this year. We will be house-sitting at a friends instead while they take the caravan to the Lakes because their cat is due to have kittens.
------------- I'd let myself go but I've already gone.
