i think you got a great deal. i would like to get frame tent but they are so expensive to buy brand new. might have a look on ebay myself see if i can get a bargain too.
We are selling a cabanon frame tent if you are interested. Its only been used the once and comes with many extras plus an extra bedroom annexe and innertent. We love this tent, its like a bungalow but are selling it as we have bought a caravan now and need to replennish the funds!
Thats a good price for your tent. We too bought ours from ebay and collected it locally so we could see it before we paid. We've used it once and its great. For a first time camper I was very happy with it apart from the fact thats its only a 4 man tent and too small for our family of two large teenagers and a 5 year old. Hubby has bought a huge dome tent so that we can all camp together but I must admit I prefer the frame tent.
Cheekyboots, if I'd seen yours sooner I might have been able to talk him into going for it. How many bedrooms does it have and what are the measurements?
We got our Royal Avingnon 6 Plus off ebay for £150. a few weeks back. It had never been used. Seller had brought for weekends away with husband, sadly they are now getting divorced and so she didn't want it hanging around the house. I felt a little bad that it was for their romantic weekends away, and felt a little awkward when we collected it and she was telling us why she was selling it. But it's a great tent, and we are using it for the first time this weekend.
Best wishes,
Linda
