Hi
I have seen a Vango Diablo on site with a KA. I couldnt beleive my eyes but they got in there, not sure what else they had with them though.
Colin
It may have been my wife and I! We have a KA and regularly go camping with our Vango Diablo 600, chairs, table, stove, kitchen stand, calor gas bottle, sleeping bags, duvet, airbed, food and all the other bits and pieces. We have to put the back seats down, but it goes in fairly easily. We've heard people outside the tent before in amazement that it all came out of such a small car!
I have to ditto Wh1tehouse's comments. The wife and I always used her KA last year and we took everything and anything (no porta-loo though). With the back seats folded down it was amazing how much you got in it. There's quite a bit of room behind the front seats in the footwell.
It was quite satisfying seeing someone with a massive estate pull up and then comparing it to our little KA, but seemingly having similar amounts of gear.

I get simliar comments in Asda carpark when I fit a full shopping trolleys worth of groceries in my Yaris (and thats without sliding forward the rear seats).
Last yr went camping myself and two children managed to fit everything in.
I have a fiesta and i manage to get everything in with two kids too. I have now bought a roof box so i can take extra things like clothes (campsites complained about me walking around in just my apron.
We have been camping with 3 kids and the two of us and all our stuff in a vauxhall calibra before its amazing how much stuff you can get in when you want to
I have a punto and without my roofbox I would struggle! No portaloo and no 3 way fridge! I do have two kids though.
We invested in a little 7 inch portable freeview tv. It's great. But I would have to agree that you may have to make do with a bucket. It's not that far to the toilets!
Campers are great people - take the basics (inc. wine) and make friends.
I like this comment, If anyone is ever camping where I am I would be very happy to make friends, just don't forget the wine!!
if the ka hahaha isnt big enough u can always pack that in the tent bag aswell and hire a bigger car like a mini and use it wen u get there lololololololol
