Hiya All,

I was just after some advise if possible!

My 16 month old Jack Russell is ok camping he barks a bit but i think that's just a Jack Russell thing.  When we take him out in the car he goes into the boot he has blankets, toy's, water ect in there but barks all the time when we are travelling to where we are going, once he is out and has a run around the park he is fine but getting to the park is an ear hurting nightmare.  I have heard of some DAP spray but they are like £22.99 and was wondering if they were any good?  Also does any one have any great idea's any one has to keep hin quite in the car. 

Also to stop him barking at campsites i have found giving him a massive bone to chew on works a treat as it keep's him busy chewing that.

Lyns ,it sound as though you doggies is over existed

Try putting him in the car sometimes and just not going anywhere and sometimes just drive straight around the block and come back home .He should soon just start to accept the car as normal life nd not something that leads to something REeeally exiting every time :)

Thats such a good idea i never thought of it in that was, its true when ever we go into the car he gets to go to the park i guess its just like a child with sweets!
