Well after this thread I dug ours out of the Outwell bag and lo & behold - it works!!! so it was very carefully stored away in the storage pockets for the rest of the holiday!
Ours doesn't work stuck at about 20 but John (oh) has put it inside tent. I think I will move it back out again incase this is some kind of quest 'lets see how many thermometers we can nick' We were away a couple of weekends ago and oh commented it was like an outwell convention.
I don't care if they take it from outside but I don't want anyone in the tent!

That to me is just low. What happened to looking out for 1 another not stealing of 1 another. Just dampens my faith in human kind just that little bit more.
Firstly, I thought it had been a lovely 20 degrees throughout the Whitsun week and now I take another look at my thermometer and see that even in my garage at 11pm it's 20 degrees - me thinks it doesn't work!
Secondly, my faith in humnakind takes another bashing! How lucky you were to only have the thermometer taken!
