Thanks for the replys everyone.  This morning I asked OH if i should book and days off work just in case we go camping, he said save them for later in the year.  Yesterday I said please take me camping because i really really like it, he didn't reply.  I have text him the campsite telephone number. I may have to resort to begging.

He does like camping, just not as obsessed as me! Think i will just say 'we are going camping next weekend' and not take any excuses.

By the way Clare, if OH does force you to sell the camping stuff....let us all know! ha ha. 

I have tried using the 'your going to leeds so i can have [insert desired object here]' but that has already got me new summer clothes, a laptop and a few books......not sure how much more I can get!  In fact, maybe that is why we cant afford it.

I KNOW we can afford it though, and it CAN be done on a budget, more than likely for less than a weekend at home. I think i will make a camping saving box....

god this camping argument with my OH has turned into a right big deal, we haven't spoke since yesterday lunchtime!!

Does anyone else ever think they don't even want to go if their OH doesn't act interested?  I just think that now it will feel like i forced him to go and I will be desperate for him to have a good time!!

Think I will just get him to drop me off and come back a few days later to get me......bliss
