My OH has camped in the garden with the kids, they love it.

I like the idea of camping in the living room!

I enjoyed it 'til my inflatable tent collapsed (my fault, great tent otherwise!)
I now have a beautiful lush green lawn to camp on post building work AND a new pop up 4 man Quechua so sorely tempted as still quite balmy here in London. Love the ambient noise of the birds and the squirrels, foxes...police sirens chasing criminals, the helicopters hovering overhead like a scene from ' Goodfellas'...odd mix when you consider it!

So did I a couple of years ago - all the garden camping has ruined it

- looks like a well used campsite pitch at the end of a busy season!

I used to camp in the garden when I was a kid, once spent a whole summer holidays out there. I think it was were I got the camping bug, along with other creepy crawlies.
