Multiple sizes and different uses, pack sizes, materials, ages of tent. Some crossover on some of the smaller ones, its mostly all but one of the smaller ones that are the older ones.

Nah....I tried, made a reasonable bid....and someone went and bid £333.00! It's an old canvas tent, with a repair that needs doing.....and someone is prepared to pay a third of a grand + £42 p&p. I'm glad I was at work when bidding was ending.....I would probably have got caught up in the frenzy and spent far too much.

By the sounds of it, petemills buys the tent first and then worries about how he is going to use it.
As for his shoes, I think he buys them to match his tents. My wife does the same with bags.

Of course I don't do that....I had planned an expedition to Finnish Lapland and was after a suitable tent for a base camp, when I spotted this one. I wouldn't dream of doing it the other way round....much!
