Best pillow in winter is the down jacket you had on in the evening to keep warm! Slip it into a pillowcase folded in half and it's the best camping pillow you'll find. Anyone thinking of winter camping later this year - now's a good time to look for sales of down jackets.
I love camping in winter. Last time we managed it was in November at Glencoe which was helped by the lure of the pub down the road!
We do alot of light-ish weight camping with the tent on the back of our motorbikes and found it difficult to find a pillow to suit us, but we have been using a Mammut for a couple of years, so it has certainly paid for itself.
