At Pinewoods in Norfolk warning signs are in all the washing up areas. Properly printed on plastic signs. Well done those sites who want their customers back !!
OMG - I have been camping and am a scientist.. I have never cooked inside my tent, but not because of the CO risk, purely because of the fire risk, but honestly I had NEVER connected the CO risk until I read this thread.... and yet it's so obvious to me now I think about it!!!

Big round of to all sites/retailers/customers for spreading this message. We will never know if it's saved someones life, thank god!
i agree totally but we all ready know its working because although its been a busy News week Jubilee weather etc. Ive not seen any or heard of any more tragedy or near tragedies and that's been over what was even with the weather a busy week for campsites . plus the weather is one of the main reasons for wanting to warm your tent .
the next step is to keep it going regards posters ! with new people taking up camping all the time its important the posters signs become a permanent fixture or we could see a new season with a fresh tragedy
And finely a big to the team behind UKCampsite for coming up with the posters a simple but very affective idea well done .
Robin Hood had a poster up and a great info sheet written by Camping World. It was all I had to read while waiting for DD to finish in the shower so I read it several times!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
