We intended to return this year to the same site but they've put on a 10% surcharge for 'special events' We've voted with our feet and found a cheaper site in the same area!
Interestingly we've just booked a hotel in Paris for this year's final stage (will ask questions about that nearer the time!) .... just as cheap as all other weekends at about €45 per room per night - no surcharges at all! Can you imagine that in this country?

I think they have loads of business as this is a very high tourist area.
Maybe, but even the prime site we go to in Cornwall only charges £9.50 per adult per night, in peak season. £4.50 per child and £4.75 for EHU. That's a whole ten pounds a night cheaper.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
