That's rubbish that you've had bad news and won't be up to camping.
I'm sure lots of people have shared their stories of breast cancer, but my mum had a full mastectomy last year, and the op was just a day case - I was really shocked, but she was totally fine!
Hey,im in mansfield, you are ayorkshire lass.get well soon and get out there in the wild lol.and please join us for a bbq.Ive had s**t luck this year and expensive but if something funny happens will let you know.My problems dont compare to yours.I wish you all the best xxx
So sorry to hear of your diagnosis Emma, its a years journey of treatment ahead for you, and one that our 34yr old daughter Kay is just coming to the completion of having been diagnosed with stage 3 grade 3 Breast cancer herself in Feb 2013. She is now about halfway though a years treatment of Herceptin, having already completed FEC chemotherapy and radiotherapy.Shes also taking Tamoxifen on a 5 yr course of treatment.
Having followed her journey, l fully understand how difficult this may be for you, but there is a good quality of life to be had after treatment, and im sure that next year you will feel much better and will be able to continue with your camping trips and other hobbies as before. If theres anything that l can do to help if you need an ear to bend, please feel free and ask, and good luck with your treatment.
