Hi! New camper here!!
I've just spent an amazing bank holiday weekend in Caernarfon, on a site beside the beach. My dog was surprisingly well behaved, considering she hadn't been near a tent before!!
So, now we've already booked for the same pitch...(getting the lingo now too!!)
I fancy meeting up with other campers to go places I would normally go to!
Better late than never (single and fifty something...) so also wanting to find friends

Back from camping at Worthing Rugby Club.
Went straight from work after nightshift.
Got to the campsite, put up the tent, much too hot to sleep in the tent. Tried sleeping under the tarp, still too hot just lying on my SIM without sleeping bag.

Sunday, after actually sleeping through the night still feeling fatigued, decided to have a quiet reading and rest day. So no long walk in the heat.

Monday, long relaxed breakfast, take down tent and go home.

Well what a fab weekend that was! Just got home, never known such amazing bank holiday weather. Leekworth was busy but not overly crowded. Perfect pitch overlooking the river, so calm and relaxing, was even lucky enough to see a heron on the banks yesterday.

Saturday night we travelled to Bishop Auckland to see the amazing Kynren, if you are in the area it's on every saturday until 14th Sept and I highly recommend it for all the family, check it out on Google or YouTube.

Last trip of the year for us so glad it was a good one. Site review and trip report to follow...
