I think you may be right. Went through a lot to have her and now can't have any more. I think it makes me VERY over protective. OH would not wake up though. I know this from experience. We had a severe Thunder and Lightening storm during the night only a few weeks ago (whilst in the tent) and he slept through the whole thing!!!
------------- I have NEVER been lost, though I do admit to spending several hours locationally challenged
More tentage = Campus Sherpa 4 - reproofed and still going strong
In Memorandum = Vango Quest, Khyam Chatsworth, and a frame tent OH wouldn'try!!!!

There's a differece though. Your body switches off to sounds that are normal when you're asleep and will not register them. I'll sleep through a thunderstorm no problems as they cause me no concern but if one of the kids wakes to go to toilet and clicks the light on I'll wake up.
Not a bad thing you might say, ........ but they're 20 and 17 now
Of course you know hubby better than me of course, maybe he's not tuned in or more likely knows you're there
And, if a bear should attack you whilst camping, remember to take this advice:
'Try to remain calm, avoid making direct eye contact and speak softly to the bear. If the bear is within 10 to 15 feet, spray the bear with your UDAP Bear Deterrent Pepper Spray.'
You ever seen a bear charge? See here, and remember, if this should happen, just stay calm and spray the bear with your little spray.........
Bear attacks happen as fast as lightning!!! Most situations where you will need to use your UDAP Bear Spray will be in a close surprise encounter. Practice, at least seven times going for your spray, or until you can reach it in a split second’s time when needed.
At least now if Pen encounters foxes, badgers, hedgehogs, moles, horses, cats, ducks, mice, toads, rats, centipedes, lizards, monkeys, elephants, sealions or bears whilst camping, she'll know what to do!

Not to mention \Big Bunny's
Well Hubby's off the cieling now and I'm there in his place. It's not that I mind animalis, at least I don;t mind them in a zoo but I certainly would'nt invite them into my loverly new tent to eat my dinner and do other naughty things like make a mess whilst I was a sleep.A mess in my tent would be unheard of.
So after spending this weekend in a really nice posh hotel visiting the kids at uni I informed my OH of all the helpfull comments my friends on this site have given me regarding the above animals and their eating habits and I highlighted the bennifits and plesures of, say stuffing camping and returning to the home comforts of the hotel chains across the globe. After much thought and consideration on his part compiled with weighing up the cost of equiptment to date he concluded that I was mad mad very mad and is now looking into possible grounds for getting his poor wife (That would that would be ) sectioned under the Mentel Health Act so until he has really really calmed down I am staying up here ) I could be stuck here for a while so don't worry if you don't hear from me for a bit. If anyone would like to pop round with food and drink whilst he is not looking I would be most gratefull. But next time If I need to write in for some advice PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KEEP IT TO YOURSELFS
Thanks as always for a enjoyable read.
Pen.
PS, I hope you have noticed my spelling is getting better as well as my camara work. Thats how I got such a high photo Big Bunny it had nothing to do with jumbing I took it whilst I was stuck up on the ceiling.
