 wait till skatty sees this thread  

 we have a huge 8 man tent and all the gear that goes with it. but its all too much for one or two nights... so we are getting another smaller outfit for next season so we can go on weekenders. my o/h dont get that many hols from work and we love camping and live close to alot of lovely beauty spots so makes sense really.... just gotta convince hubby now  

 come on skatty im sure you can give me some tips

i am not sure how this information popped up in this thread but as we are going to cornwall, in december,  in a van prone to overheating in traffic jams it is very useful to know. We won't be camping in either of our tents but staying in a holiday cottage....  we will be taking our crocs, all 3 pairs.
