Hi we have purchased the kirkwood 900 & found the tent has no rear door from the back bedroom pod as the killington does. We emailed vango as we were told its the same tent as the killington apart from the name , vango reply was the kirkwood was a prelaunch tent ,  & the killington has some of the bugs of the kirkwood ironed out .  I must admit i am a bit let down , after being told / assured the kirkwood was just a name change .

We went through all the "will we - won't we" about buying a Kirkwood before the value for money won the day and we went ahead.  The Kirkwood 600 is the same as the Killington 600 - no rear door on either - so this perhaps led to Andy getting duff info on the 900.

Clearly there were teething troubles with the Kirkwoods though - ours had no zip on the porch door - so after a rainy night the bathtub groundsheet in the porch was literally just that!!  Two of the main dome poles were badly cracked as well and one gave up the ghost completely after just one night.

Amazingly, in spite of these problems, we did like the tent.  Plenty of light and space - although I agree that the orange bedrooms are a wee bit peculiar!  Outdoor Action were really helpful - they are arranging to have the tent collected and hopefully they have a replacement - otherwise it will be back to the drawing board for us!
