Hi Skatty, will agree to disagree,have a look at the site reviews,majority have EHU if you want it.You obviously prefer basic camping without EHU and thats your choice and I hope you continue to enjoy but don't discount sites with EHU you might just be surprised,some are actually quite nice and not that much different from non EHU. I camped for many years when the best you could get was a corner in a farmers field and loved it but I now also enjoy lifes little luxuries like EHU,so lets both continue to do our own thing and equally enjoy it and both believe we know best....regards johnb

Most accept tents not all. Average price is by unit  £4.00 - £10.00 per night. You need to be a member of Caravan club or the Camping and Caravan club. Most can take 5 caravans and then as many tents as they like.  As not many tents are that self sufficient we have never been crowded.

Caravan Club = Certificated Location. CL

 which means these sites do not have to apply for planning etc as they are covered by clubs own licence usually very basic. Non of you would want to stay on these sites honest trust me their awfull   

Listed sites are private sites who have paid the two clubs to be listed in their campsite books
