I must say there are some pretty ingenious ways of packing, and since posting this thread we arent too worried that we will need a trailer. However, the size of the fridge that we are looking at (Waeco CAB40) might take up a lot of space. We only want this -30 one because we are hoping for great weather when we take the BL6 to France in July.

Shamrock, I'd plan to put your fridge in the boot and the rest of your kit in the boot. We have the Waeco and IMO the trailer is way too "bouncy" to put the fridge in and expect it to survive very long.

Thanks for advice. I think whilst we have the one 'ankle biter' we should be ok, but if a second comes along we shall have to re-visit as we are definitely at the 'posh' end of camping.

Thanks for all the posts.

I reckon you can't class yourself as anything but a posh camper if you own a Bear Lake...

I love it. My BL that is. Wouldn't swap it or any of the countless other camping "items" that we've amassed for anything else. The BL and bits collated together would def class me as a posh camper...

All the various gadgets and the BL are transported in a Daxara 127 trailer with a Kamei 400 roofbox attached to the top of the trailer rather than the car. All packed and ready to go...

Cheers,

ADL.
