Didnt get chance to phone Outwell yesterday, however I did get a reply to my emails:

Dear

I am sorry not to have replied sooner - unfortunately some of our first deliveries this came without the fabric repair patch and we are not able to get any replacements at this time

I do apologise if this causes you any inconvenience but I would be surprised if you needed it anyway

So this is Outwells customer service? seems a bit naff to me.

Did you ring them Christine? How did you get on?

Dont know wether to carry on persuing this, or give up as a bad job, one thing for sure, although Im happy with my tent I wont buy Outwell again

Update - 1 year on - emailed Outwell a few days ago, repair kit arrived today. Oh, all's well.....
