Yes it has taped seems, and is easy the full 22.5 kg's as advertised.
It comes with its own carry sack, and has ample room to fit the large tent in without a struggle. It has the pull tight straps which compacts the tent down to about the same circumference as a sleeping bag, about 12" by about 2'6" long.
It took me and my son as previously stated 25 mins from box to fully pegged tent and tying on the guys. Mind we do a lot of camping.
I gave my tents a good soaking to expand the threads and to check for leaks.
No leaks only a little ingress where I hadnt zipped the front door down properly.
You will struggle to find as roomy a tent for that sort of money, even if it is tight.
All the best and I hope this may answer some questions.
Yes, you have answered all of the questions I had in mind! It makes a big difference to get an idea of a product off of someone who actually has one. OH is nipping down after work to get one. It seems like a really good bargain.
I went to Dunstable Aldi late on Saturday evening - it was the first time I'd been in one since a rather traumatic experience as a student, and I was pleasantly surprised - it was actually a really rather enjoyable supermarket shopping experience!
I bought the £5 led "UFO" light which is fab, the "foil" backed picnic rug for the bedroom, £5 chair, and the aluminium table (which seems very sturdy, but unfortunately you cannot sit with your legs under it because of the crossbars).
Then went to Aldi in Acocks Green on Sunday to get a camping cupboard, as Dunstable had sold out. Haven't put it up yet, but it looks OK.
All the stuff is Sunflair, made in Chelmsford near where my sister-in-law lives....I wonder if they have a factory shop there?
Just to update anyone, went into Aldi in Cheadle (Stockport) earlier, on the off chance (looking for cupboard) and they still had everything else apart from the cupboard, just my luck!
Got the mats and cool box. Very impressed with the coolbox. Mats are ok but i have nothing to compare them with except a foam mat. Wish i had bought the tent now as my kyham igloo is a bit small for 3. Ah well maybe next time.
Just another update in case anyone is still looking, tried the Aldi in Broadheath, Altrincham before and it seems they have more stock of everything (got a cupboard!), the only thing I didn't see was the 2 little lamps.
Just in case it helps anyone, the Aldi in Sc**thorpe had at least one tent left today, also quite a few of the other bits, didn't see any cool boxes though
just done 5 days with the tent! on the last night heavy thunder storm and rain, just a small leak from skylight, easy fixed. delighted at the tents overall performance, space, easy pitching and stability.
just bought one of these tents today reduced to 59.99 glad to hear you all think its a good tent .going to searles in august so hoping for no rain(even though you all seem to say its leakproof) good to be reassured.

Now would it not be good to go and post that in the tent review section and help others
