Ahh this thread has made me chuckle so much. We've abandoned bbqs before and given some a loving, if temporary home. We've now got one of those cheap £5 bucket ones and my husband has insisted on bringing it home for next time!
I know where he's coming from, I love my little bucket bbq, even if it was only a fiver from woolies!!
We're currently in the process of choosing a new tent as our Darwin is looking the worse for wear after 2 years of abuse. OH thinks he's leaving it at Orchard next weekend - he can think again!!
Back to the original post - I just don't get why people get so worked up that they just dump what must be a good few hundred quids worth of camping gear!! It's beyond belief!

yeyyyyyyyyyyyyy that was def us marigold, yeah my son dragged the tent over with help from our friends in the next pitch, glad we went home now cos i think i would have had something to say to noisy neighbours, i can remember the blue tent with the dog lol, i loved this site, the next day i said to my hubby, can we go back and get our tent lol, proberly get a new one next year, kinda missing it now
I liked the site too, just a shame about the noise, but that can happen anywhere I suppose. And next time I'll be minus the dog!! He just wants to be outside ALL the time which isn't possible when it rains like it did there!
Don't be put off, get yourself a new tent and get back on the wagon!
