Hey DK, Devizes Eh! ... i;m in Melksham.  The New Year Meet in South Devon sounds like a great way to blast away the Xmas excesses, i will have to give it a go, nothing ventured nothing gained.

I am desperately trying to get away on most, if not all of the weekends in Sept and October.

I am completely hooked, love to combine camping with walking or just sitting around chilling lol

Exactly Flintstone, get outdoors!! ... unbeatable ... not managed to get to the lakes yet, but am busily enjoying Dartmoor, the South West Coast path, the Brecons etc ... lifes too short Awwww

Never too late Tina, get yourself down the South West lol ... there are loadsa solo campers down here, and judging by this thread we LOVE it.

I intend to camp solo but end up sleeping in my car instead although I will be going solo to the bagwell farm meet this year.

I think there should be a singles dating thing on here, I might meet the love of my life.

Lol ... so the love of your life isnt camping ??? lol
