After much searching and saving I finally got myself a Cabanon Dome for the odd weekend away with just me and my daughter. I thought it was a good idea at the time. Hating the 'sweaty, plastic windsock' type of tent it took a while to find just what I wanted.  I was over the moon to receive my new weekender - this was short lived.  After much huffing and puffing and finally, measuring, I got the tent up.  The only way I could get everything to sit right was by measuring out the 8x8 square of the dome and pegging the legs to the floor, then lifting the canvas on top. Only then could I get the damn thing to go up properly.  Yes, I'm sure there are better ways of doing it. I tried it by the trad' way of bringing it to its knees and then putting the canvas on top then lifting the corners but that was even harder.  So sod this!  After 4 attempts in the garden and finally succeeding I have decided itís not worth the hassle. It is now up for grabs on the small ads.  Has anyone else got one of these tents and how do you put it up. Please bear in mind I have to do this on my own as the hubby doesnít do camping and I manage my 6 berth Athena quite easily.

Are you absolutelty sure you want to get rid? Sometimes a new tent take a few goes to work out the most logical way to do it. Afraid I cannot advise on this model as I do not know it, but I am sure that someone will be able to help.

Thanks you two but yes it is time to get rid. I put it up again to take the photos and although it was easier it is still a lot of faffing.  The Cruiser is up and running in less that 10 mins - not a chance with this!  Even the Athena is easier!  Either way the post is also a way of letting people know its up for grabs.  There is always someone out there that can do better!) 20

Happy camping!

Is this the same one on ebay a while ago, hoping to make a profit if it is?
