Hello everyone,

    I am in the process of researching self inflating mattresses. I had more or less decided on ordering a fat airic as they seem to fit the bill nicely ie. long enough wide enough and also the thickest i have seen online with a great price. But today i went to my local camping shop and they had a Robens 10cm. It is more or less the same except, as the name sugests 10cm thick, that is 3 cm more than the airic. It is more expensvie but i was able to see it and try it out in the shop!!!

   I just wondered if any body has one of the robens and can recommend it and is it worth the extra money?

Yes I have a Robens mat and although I have never tried a Fat Airic I can confirm that the Robens is great. I use it mainly for camping with  the Scouts and it is very quick and easy.
