We have one it's fab to sit one but no good for sleeping. I think we paid £24 at Catterick Caravans. You do need a pump to suck all the air out or you can't get it back in the car
We bought one of the coleman love seats. (type in 'coleman love seat' into the search facility and see the reviews etc.)
We have found it excellent but others have had less than brilliant experiences with them ( mainly deflating )
what I can say is that you dont get the pain of the seat cutting into the back of your legs like you do after sitting on a fold up chair for a while !!
i had one last year it lasted bout 3 days b4 tearing on one of the creases and boy was i peeved off was very comfy while it lasted but make sure u take repair kit
we bought a towsure one a month ago, and used it on our first camping trip. It's great as a sofa, but for us had amassive drawback as a bad.
It also spring two leaks, and then started to go down very slowly again. I still need to pump it up and find the third leak (in four days!)
When we used it as a bed, the joining strip meant is spread into a gap of maybe f-6 inches in the centre. As well as effectivly making it two separate beds, when my daughters came init gave thema space to fll into. One moring my daughter was lying completley in it, except for one kneee sticking out, and it was thisone knee which stopped me rolling over covering her completely ehile she was asleep - almost certainly with deadly results.
We bough a separate airbed the next day and used this just as a sofa - and it makes a great on.
The other thing to check, is whether it will fit in your sleeping compartment with the back up - and ours onnly fit in our three berth room when the back was by the entrance, meaning climbing over it to get in!
Great as a sofa (whenit was pumped up), but not great, and with small children potentially deadly as a bed. I'm beginning to wonder, are Towsure own products really that great?
We have the Air-O-Space 5 in one sofa, not the cheapest but far superior to most others we have seen (here). It inflates quickly, is tough and doesn't seem to deflate. It is particularly comfy in the sofa/footrest configuration! We only use this on long stays, but it is a good product. It is worth taking a cheap throw, as sitting on any pvc sofa, especially when it's warm, is not that brill!

When using any of these inflatable sofa products as a mattress, it is important to make sure the joining strip is positioned at the top, so that there is no gap between the two halves. If you have a look at the link in my previous post, you will see what I mean.
Thanks. We wondered about that, but it would mean deflating the sofa back (with no separate outlet valve), and well as removing the arms, which we thought was just a little silly and time consuming. With a lac of insructions, I assum,ed it was the other way up = though it does make a lot more sense the way you suggest.
Either way I'm glad we bought another bed, as it seesm to much efort at night and in the morning...
