My fishing gear. After all it would be rude to go to Normans bay - our usual destination- and not try tempt some of those fish out of the sea.

i don't know about early morning but i would put big towelling dressing gown in the top 5 of my list, for making the campsite shower experience bearable.

Thats not a luxury, its essential, the gear is the first thing sorted & the holiday is planned around beach & rock marks.------------- Cliff (usually)

Another person without EHU and all the gadgets that entails.
But I wouldn't be without our Coleman airbed and proper sheets, feather duvet, pillows and warm blankets

Proper big 13.5tog, enormous feather/down duvet which will NOT roll up into any sort of convenient size.
Proper glasses - I don't mind plastic wineglasses for some reason but cannot drink water from a plastic glass.

I'm guessing as a luxury it's something that we could live without but choose to take reguardless - So it's got to be my mobile phone... I'd hate for my close friends and family not be able to contact me if they needed to - not so much for emergencies but sometimes people just need to know you're there for them.
Mdskids - Make one for me too lol. But so far I just sit a pot/bowl beside me and sit my glass in it, any spills can be poured back in my glass that way

I intend to buy an MP3 player dock. That will likely be my silly luxury item for us, and for the dogs it will be their folding camping beds
We're also of the "leave it all behind" mentality. It's nice to get away from the TV and the computer.

I've just bought a carpet for my SV8 - my friends think I'm mad.
My Luxuries apart from my pillow, luxury thermarest and glass wine glasses are my hanging rail and my chest of drawers. I've only ever seen them once and bought them and have never seen them again - they take me about 30 minutes to put up made from loads of bits of wire board and cloth but I can't stand grovelling around in a bag looking for my clothes, so everyone hangs their clothes up on the rail and we have drawer each!!!! I then have my mirror and things on top of the drawers - just like home. next thing I'll be putting up pictures and table lamps. - and I used to backpack with the smallest tent I could find. Now I've got a car I just keep filling it and the roof box.
