We bought our Vermont L and they stocked plenty of Outwell accessories so we got the carpet at the same time. Pretty competitive on price too. They have a website so give them a try.....
Many thanks for your response - tried Winfields too - just about every site I could find on the net - apparently non coming into the country until July. Does anyone know if we can get these from abroad? Also wondered whether purchasing a smaller one would suffice. Does anyone have any ideas on flooring please. Many thanks.
Hi CHRISALIZ, Try crosscamping but the carpets this year are proving of so popular they are selling out fast. With the addition of the footprint if you have a young family great for keeping the cold and damp out. Most on here who have now used them reckon they are great. Highly Recommend.
The carpet, I think, is extremely important when using a SIG. The footprint groundsheet keeps the bottom of the tent clean but the carpet stops any damage to the SIG from the insode from things like tables and chairs. It does add a bit of extra warmth but the prime reason I use one is for SIG protection.
The carpets fold up extremely small and pack away in the smallest of places. My one fits under the drievrs seat of the car if it has to. Well worth it in my opinion.
Many thanks - tried all these and more but to no avail - oh well will just have to take a couple if rugs - have got footprint groundsheet but when we saw one of demo with the carpet it thought it looked really homely.
We have just bought the Monty 6 for this year and the wife wanted the carpet and i wanted the footprint, so we have both, and are going to try it out next weekend, so with both we should have nice warm feet. (well thats the theory)
I notice that crosscamping charge at lot more postage than other sites at £10 order. The carpet I looked seemed cheaper than anywhere else until I added on the postage and then well, it all worked out the same.
