An ebay seller is now selling both a fire blanket and a small 600gram dry powder extinguisher for £18 inc postage.
This is just the right size for a tent if you think you will need it.
go on ebay sale and type in fire blanket to find it.

And remember one of the most effective things to use in the event of a non-electrical fire is a bucket of water, kept permenantly ready outside the tent.
(Also acts as a beer chiller and dog water bowl....)

You are right on that one,we bought our at wilkingson a good strong red bucket for about £3 and we wrote fire on it with a pertinent marker.

To be honest an extinguisher of this size isn't really going to do much good.
As Val says in a camping environment a bucket of water and some t-towels (or the fire blanket) is much more useful.
If I were taking electrics I would want a bigger extinguisher standing by.
