I am sure once you get used to the camping thing you will develop what we call 'tent envy' and you will want to buy another one after a couple of trips away - I have never kept a tent more than 2 years but now I have my Outwell Monty that is going to change - its a keeper!!!! I have not heard of the Skandika so cant help with thoughbts on that one - to be honest I never heard of it.
