Helloo!

We've just put up our Outwell SunValley 6 in the back garden (after a very successful first year's camping in 2006) to check if it still works! As we watch it get battered by the wind and rain from the warmth of our kitchen, we were wondering if we needed to waterproof it?  Any ideas or comments would be welcome!

I doubt it! It is waterproofed to 5000 which is a lot!!!!

No, you don`t need to waterproof synthetic tents. New cotton canvas tents need weathered, but that`s a different thing entirely.

That's good news. We were just wondering whether the intergrity of the waterproofing decreased with age. We can remember painting something onto an old tent many moons ago! (Poor thing looks like it's going to blow away...typical Bank Holiday weather!)
