We are debating whether or not to camp at Blackpool next weekend as my husband is doing the half-marathon. My only concern is that he won't get a good night's sleep and so spoil his run.

Have been looking a hotels and so far, no luck unless we want to spend 200 quid for all of us! Canvas could be the only option!

Completed the Belfast marathon a couple of weeks ago and helenm26 is right, not much sleep to be had the night before no matter where you are so under canvas is as good as anywhere else...
