Hello there

In out Montana 6 two of the straps that attach the bedroom to the tent have been snapped off.

Not exactly a manufacturing defect, as the kids use the bedroom as a trampoline when our backs are turned - bless 'em!

So...I need to sew the straps back on, I don't own a sewing machine, but can wield a needle - is there a particular twine/thread that I can use to do this?

Presuming you mean the straps n the inner tent rather than those on the flysheet itself then some strong polyester thread will do the job. You can get a small repair kit from camp shops with patches, thread, needle etc.
