I've just received  the rucksack I ordered at the very beginning of APRIL!!! I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say where from, but I ordered on the internet and after I e-mailed and asked where my order was they told me it would be another 3 weeks. I e-mailed back and cancelled the order.

So today the rucksack has arrived (after I ordered another one from world of camping who were excellent!) and I have to pay postage, etc to return it - I'm annoyed that they can do this.

Any advice on where I stand? No phone number on website or on the receipt slip.

Grrrr!

If you have a copy of the email that you sent, I would contact them (By phone) and say that the order was cancelled on such and such a date and they can arrange for it to be collected at their cost. Make sure you record the telephone conversation (ie: write down what is said) and make sure you get names. Don't be fobbed off, and if they say you have to send it back at your cost, tell them that it's their responsibility to collect the goods.

Stay calm, don't get cross, and if there are any difficulties get in contact with Citizens Advice who will be able to give you the legal side to this and will tell you what to quote them.

Hope it turns out OK.

By the way, when it was delivered you could have refused it at the door!!!!!
