They say they are dangerous if they break - can sting and burn skin and contain tiny shards of glass from the ampoules that break in them when you bend to activate. With that in mind I use the thin ones - just one a night and I buy a pack of about 30 from our local £1 store.
ekkl - If you have lots left over I'd be more than happy to cover you costs for postage and pay for them .. my brother used to get these when he was on an oil rig and they were fab and like you said didn't break.

Hi. If I don't hear from Dawn by sunday with her addy I will send them to you.
All I ask is, as I get them for free, not to sell them on ebay or anything like that, as you can see they are pretty expensive at £6.99 each retail, a bag full will be worth a fortune.
They are great for kids, if you have kids they will love them at night in the tent and also on bonfire night, halloween, new years eve and so on so I will give you them for the kids to enjoy, I would hate it if they were sold on. (not that I think you would like, I just feel better asking not to flog them and hope your kids get plenty of fun out of them!!)
My email addy is my username here (ekkl) at btinternet.com Drop me a line with your addy just in case Dawn doesn't want them.
I always take Glowsticks when we go camping, my kids love them and it takes me back to wild times in Thailand at full moon parties. I always buy them through Ebay from an online seller called Glowmania. There prices are good and the delivery speed is excellent.
always buy from ebay 5 quid for 100 pp inc plus extras thrown in, they maybe only 6in long but its best to get the thicker ones as the 2mm thiner ones tend to leak easyer.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
