We live in Lincolnshire and are thinking about buying our first tent, as after seeing some of the pics on here, we have a fear of borrowing my parents and ripping it or worse. does anyone know of anywhere in, or near, lincolnshire where we can go and have a look at some tents that have been put up to see the size and practicality of them before we decide.
Cant help you with regards to where to look but I do strongly advise you to go and visit lots of tent shops and see them on display first.
I recently went to a camping exhibition nearby and it was excellent walking in and out of the tents looking at them. The difference doing that and just looking at them on line is unbeleivable. I urge you to go and look before you buy!!!
Yes i strongly advise you to go and have a look at some exhibitions, if you do a google search for camping exhibitions you should find some. Thats what i did and i went near Biddolph middle of May and had a look at an exhibition, found it highly helpful.
I was interested in the Vango Vail off the internet and i telephoned round loads of people who didn't have the tent on display but they did at this exhibition, when i got there i was disappoointed with the Vango for my personal needs and ended up buying a totally different tent. So i strongly recommend you see them up and erected.
