We picked up a rather nice Khyam Espace towards the end of last year (not the Deluxe, just the standard 10 Berth )
However, the person we bought it from kept hold of the Groundsheet for use with another Khyam they'd bought. Now we're getting close to holiday time, we're looking around for a suitable groundsheet - but can't find the footprint one available. I've emailed Khyam who basically said "It's an old tent, we don't have the groundsheets any more" - I had been hoping for something more useful, like whether any of the current model Khyams have the same or similar footprint and would therefore have a compatible sheet....
Does anyone either know where we can get one, or have suggestions for alternatives? Longer term we'd probably be looking at something breathable (Softex, Ecomat or similar) but right now we can't really afford the £80+ that it would cost us to get the section that would cover straight through the dome and porches, never mind under the bedrooms!
Dimensions we believe are 3m wide be 6m long for the dome and porch sections, with a 2m bedrooom area on each side of the dome, slightly offset as the porches are different lengths....
They do a range of Khyam groundsheets at a good price. I would have thought that the footprint groundsheets for the last three on the second page of Khyam/Groundsheets would be near enough.
I can vouch for the quality of Khyam groundsheets. We have used cheaper ones but they turn out to be much more crinkly. We now use our old Khyam footprint groundsheet from our Rigidome XXL in our Rigipod Excelsior. The width is fine and we run it the full length, using small cheap groundsheets to go under any bedrooms that come off the sides. Also use a small offcut of eco-groundsheet for the bit that juts out for our entrance porch - mud, water etc just drop through it, so the main groundsheet stays cleaner.
