Went on a site in the Lakes a couple of years ago. It was licenced for 32 units but I counted 90 before I gave up. The owners sited a folding camper so close to one small tent that it ended up under one of the FC's bedrooms.

What puzzles me about the first photo on this thread is that there appears to be some sort of gigantic worms growing out from the tents.

Well, given that they`re "proper" tents as in StormHavens and bell tents, my guess would be some sort of youth organisation campout.

Bit untidy a layout for Scouts though....

They're all Wizards camped up for the Tri Wizard Championships.....there's a whole dormitory full of Elves in one of those ridge tents!
