Are these safe to use in the nylon type bubble tents?

Considered using elec. fan heater, but it has two settings the highest being 2.4 kw, which would use about 10 amps. We could use it on the lower setting but am worried about forgetting and turning it to the higher setting. The gas heater seems ideal and handy when no EHU, apart from the fire risk. Surely they are designed for tents though.

i would say yeah there safe depending on size of tent but if u got kiddies then a definete NO GO

THEY GET BLOODY HOT and are dangerous if they knock them over

Bought two of those and quite frankly they are rubbish( mind you it was cold and our tent is big), may be a bit big for your tent but we got a halogen heater from Wilkinsons for 10 quid, its brill and switches off automatically if it gets a knock from the kids.

I have one of those gas heaters and i think there good for thier size! It takes the chill away after all this is camping were supposed to rough it a little aint we?

We have got one of those gas heaters for when we cant get elec hook up it takes the chill off but on the one we bought it actually stated on the box not suitable for inside tents !!!! Not sure why but anyway its been ok in our tent but halogen is better

to anyone who buys this kind of cartidge cooker/ fire please make sure it is a good brand make . i watched one melt and set fire to last year.
