Just returned EARLY from the Loire Valley after a wet week. Took Tent down in rain along with Sunncamp day room. As they where wet I didn't pack away but folded as little as possible to get into trailer. It now wet in Kent so no chance of laying on lawn to dry. I've opened both bearlake and suncamp tents up in garage as much as possible. The way the weather is they may have to be like this for the next day or so.
Does anyone know as i can't dry they out properly since yesterday if this will cause any damage or will i be ok?
Thanks
Atko

It will be fine for a day or so. Just go out every few hours and turn it as best you can to get the water out untill you can air it properly.

I think the assumption is that polycotton is OK to just dry and does not need to be pitched like canvas.
I don't know whether anyone has checked that with Outwell though. ------------- Piglet

If it was me, I'd re-pitch at the earliest opportunity (if you have space to do so) even if yet more rain is forecast.
Tents which are pitched can cope fine with being wet, it is when they are damp and warm and unventilated that you start to get probs.

PS I know the polycotton flysheets supposedly don't need pitching to dry out, but that is an awful lot of fabric to dry out on the Bear Lake, to be sure that it is drying out evenly and thoroughly.
