I have just managed to pick up a secon hand Vango aspen 700. I have opened the fly sheet and found that the seams have gone mouldy!!
Will this affect the tent at all?
Should I re do the seams with sealant?
If you are not taking the tent back to the seller then treating the seams with a solution of Miltons fluid then reseal with sealent should do the job. I would be tempted to go for a refund though.
Instead of Milton, you could use a mould & mildew remover from the supermarket. Dettol make a really good one and THEN sealant. Hope you got yourself a bargain!
