I have several large multi-coloured windbreakers which have poles 150cm long. Three of the poles have now snapped when trying to get into hard soil. Have tried several campshops but to no avail.
Does anyone know of any where that sells individual wooden ploes or do i need to just buy a need windbraeker? I live on the Hampshire/dorset border. Thanks guys.

watch out in the campsite skip for folks chucking out their busted kit - can often find bits n bobs to repair your broken kit - I got 3 poles for my windbreak last year & a friend got a whole tent with one broken pole section.

or you could get a bargain like i did at the weekend a sheringham market,
looked in all the shops as we were walking up and down the street and 8 pole windbreaks were £25 +
went on the market and saw a guy selling 8 pole windbreaks for £10 each, i asked him how much for 2. and i got em for £15 the pair, now thats a bargain

We got really sick of poles snapping on ours ( it was an expensive one too ,wiht metal point and metal capped poles ect ,over £50 ) so we bought one of the cheap guyed windbreak and have found it a lot better !
thats a quality windbreak - poles are a reasonable price too.

We have one of these windbreaker and they are first class.
We paid double in a camping shop for it,and the poles are grait but you need to keep an eye on the metal point if you hit something very hard pull it out and check the metal it may need tapping back into shape.
