Hey everyone!

would just like to congratulate you all on this great forum... Ive spent hours reading through posts instead of doing work hehe!

After spending many hours browsing the forums and getting advice on tents and camping today i purchased my very own tent, and will be going camping for a week sometime in august with the mrs :-D

The tent i bought was a Vango Killington 400 ,click the link to check out my package deal!

the reason i bought this was for vango's reputation, the space it seemed to offer for 2 people camping and the free sun canopy which just seemed to be a good offer.

so what ive got for the trip... is there any other major's i will need?

- sunn camp double stove with grill and 3kg gas
- double air bed and all sleeping stuff
- the all important tent!

just wanted your advice on if you think this was a good deal... and Ive got all the major things sorted before my adventure :-D

Secondly on checking out allot of campsites i notice allot of tariffs quoting prices for 2 person tents.. can this count as 2 people staying in a 4 person tent or do you generally have to pay more?

oh anyone know any great campsites in somerset / devon for first timers? :-)

Hi and welcome.....have a look at the item checklist on the main page to help you with your equipment.........you look like u got a good deal, don't want to be a pooper though but have you red this........not sure if it effects you though.
