going slightly off topic..... in regards to putting a sheet underneath and/or over the air bed what we do is to put the unflated airbed in a duvet cover before inflating it.  Maybe others have tried it and will say it doesn't stop condensation but it works for us

We went away for our first ever camping trip last month. Hubby bought the sleeping bag which he said would be "fine, it'll be hot in the tent anyway". So I packed my cami tops and shorts thinking I'd be warm enough. (he sleeps in the buff so he was sorted lol) Boy was i wrong! OMG It was freeeeeeeezing! I feel the cold anyway, but the thing he called a sleeping bag wouldn't have kept anything warm. It was like a sheet of tissue paper wrapped between two bits of nylon. The first night I just couldn't get warm, so I was fully clothed, socks and all. Suffice to say I'll be buying the sleeping bag for the next expedition!
